THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES WELCOME CHILDREN FROM TENNIS
CAMP AT THE ROYAL PALACE
Belgrade, 28 July 2008 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II, Crown Princess Katherine and Prince Philip greeted
today at the Royal Palace 50 children from the Bukulja 2008 tennis camp.
Beside Their Royal Highnesses, also present were Mrs.
Tatjana Garcevic, Assistant to Minister of Sport and Youth, Mr. Mirko
Kantar, Head of Sport Department at the Ministry of Sport and Youth, Mrs.
Masa Misic, from the Ministry of Diaspora and Mrs. Jelena Genic, the famous
tennis coach who helped children at the camp improve their tennis skills.
The Crown Prince welcomed the children and emphasized:
“Thanks to Novak Djokovic, Jelena Jankovic, Ana Ivanovic and others, tennis
is today the number one sport in Serbia. We are delighted that you have
decided to follow their footsteps and hope that many of you will be our
future champions in Serbia and worldwide”.
Thanks to companies like M plast, Stork, Stylos, Pionir
Ltd. and donors from Greece, HRH Crown Princess Katherine’s Foundation
provided gifts for children.
The camp was organized with the help and support of the
Ministry of Diaspora, Ministry of Sport and Youth, Ministry for Kosovo and
Metohija, Tennis Union of Serbia and Companies Telekom Srbija a.d., Knjaz
Milos, Lasta a.d and Bambi a.d. |
